Celebrating 100 years of glorious service to humanity

Dear Friends,

We are glad to inform you that Shri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Rajkot (Ramakrishna Math, Rajkot) is entering a historic milestone of 100 years of glorious service to humanity in 2027. The Centenary Celebration will be observed from 28^th February, 2027 to 5^th March, 2028. The Inaugural Function will be held from 28^th February to 5^th March, 2027.

A variety of spiritual, educational, cultural, youth-oriented, publication, and service oriented programmes have been planned throughout the centenary year to spread the universal message of harmony, selfless service, character building, and God-realization as taught by Bhagwan Sri Ramakrishna Dev, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda.

More than 300 monks from India and abroad, along with over 3,000 devotees, volunteers, well-wishers, and admirers, are expected to participate in this historic Inaugural Function. Various public meetings, cultural programmes, and seminars for teachers and youth will be conducted during the period from 28^th February to 5^th March 2027.

Since its inception on 5^th March, 1927, Rajkot Centre has been serving society through spiritual, educational, cultural, medical, rural development, and relief activities. These include value education (VIVEC), publication services, library facilities, a hostel for students, educational help to poor students, medical centre, village upliftment, spiritual guidance, etc.

The Centenary is not only a celebration of our glorious past but also an opportunity to undertake several meaningful projects for the welfare of society. We appeal to all the devotees and well-wishers to generously support this noble cause of serving God in humanity, the veritable Lord residing in every being.

We seek the blessings of our revered monks and the good wishes of all so that this Centenary Celebration may deepen our spiritual life, strengthen our spirit of selfless service, and inspire future generations to live by the lofty ideals taught by Sri Ramakrishna Dev, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda.
