- Release of book 'Yuganayak Vivekananda' in Gujarati on 27 .12.2009

‘Yuganayak Vivekananda’ - On 27th December, 2009. Revered Swami Prabhanandaji Maharaj, General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission released the book ‘Yuganayak Vivekananda’ – Gujarati biography of Swami Vivekananda in 2 volumes of approximately 1600 pages and 1400 illustrations. Dr. Kamleshbhai Joshipura, Vice-Chancellor, Saurashtra University was also present in the occassion.

- Educational Seminar on 'Social Entrepreneurship on 28 .12.2009

Educational Seminar on ‘Social Entrepreneurship’ – A whole-day educational seminar on ‘Social entrepreneurship: Rural Development & Innovative Transformation through Man-making & Nation- Building ideas of Swami Vivekananda’ was organized in the Ashrama on 28th December, 09. Approximately 550 final year/post graduate students and faculty members attended the seminar. Revered Swami Prabhananadaji Maharaj delivered the inaugural address and presided over the seminar.
